Life is like a lemon drop

It's sweet, and then it's sour

It changes bit by bit each day

Each second, minute, hour 

Sometimes the sour lasts too long

And we may crave the sweet

But quickly, something comes around

Then it's victory, not defeat 

So when the lemon drop of life

Knocks you off your feet
