Just like life, there are layers of beauty. But sometimes, we must pause to notice.
These flowers are brimming with a glorious pink. But can you see the depth of color emerging from the middle? And what about those dainty stripes stretching like a toddler waking from a long nap?
I didn't intend to find these flowers, but I happened upon them while on a random walk with my youngest daughter. I love when that happens; such sweet layers of beauty. Beauty in time spent with my daughter, our conversation, and the gift of wildflowers.
Life has felt pretty heavy these days with layers of pain. But this morning, I found layers of goodness and beauty, and I'm grateful!
"Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!" Psalm 150:6
