December 1st comes along with excitement and anticipation of all the holiday things. Then mysteriously, by December 15th, that wonder and whimsy subside. And by December 22nd, you are crawling into Christmas. So tonight, I want to send out a special Christmas wish, prayer, and blessing for teachers.  

May you have the energy to finish your shopping, baking, and wrapping. May God give you the strength to get through the next few days. I'm praying you can celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and experience joy! And that there is a special treasure and blessing for you this Christmas!

And next week... I hope you sleep (in as late as you’d like), eat and use the bathroom whenever you feel like it (if you know, you know), binge watch shows, have lunch with friends (at a restaurant, not in the staff lounge), make memories with your family and enjoy all the things that God brings your way!
